A downloadable game

While pondering what to do to get myself back into working with Unity and toying with control schemes, it occurred to me that my preoccupation with Path of Exile suggested a project: A micro ARPG emphasizing fast action with extremely simplified versions of PoE's skill and (possibly) potion mechanics.

The idea is to build it for a twin-stick controller, with the left stick controlling movement and the right stick (optionally) aiming, and two shoulder buttons on either side being assignable to skills.

I'm hoping this goes well enough and stays small enough that I can get it to where I'm happy with it and then package up the components -- perhaps movement, input handling, tilemap management -- into useful packages I can plug into future projects. In addition, of course, to figuring out better ways to do these things.
